Podere Chiecino

An 18th-century farmhouse in the heart of Chianti. A place to slow down and live the soul of Tuscany.

Our Story

We are Sabina, Giac, and Daniel — after many years living abroad, we returned to Italy to bring new life to this beautiful 18th-century farmhouse in the Chianti hills.

We live on the property and welcome our guests as friends. We host one small, private apartment, independent yet part of the estate, thoughtfully designed for up to 3–4 guests — allowing us to preserve a quiet, intimate, and authentic atmosphere.

We’re always happy to share local tips and personal recommendations and, upon request, help you create special moments — from private yoga sessions to a glass of wine at sunset.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Your Stay, Your Experience

At Podere Chiecino, every stay is an invitation to experience the essence of Tuscany. Enjoy the comfort of our restored 18th-century farmhouse and explore the region’s rich traditions through unique experiences — from wine tastings overlooking the Chianti hills to hands-on cooking and pizza-making classes that celebrate local flavors.

Subject to availability, we can arrange transfers to and from the nearby train stations, organize intimate gatherings, yoga retreats, and art exhibitions in our courtyard, or take you on a tour of the countryside in a vintage Fiat 500.

Whether you’re here to unwind, celebrate, or discover, Podere Chiecino offers the warmth and authenticity of true Tuscan living.

Exploring the Heart of Chianti

If you’re passionate about cycling, Podere Chiecino sits right along the legendary routes of L’Eroica and the Strade Bianche — Tuscany’s world-famous white gravel roads. We also provide a dedicated space to safely store your bikes during your stay.

Just a short drive from Podere Chiecino, you’ll find Siena with its iconic Piazza del Campo, the medieval villages of Radda in Chianti, Gaiole, and Castellina, and the enchanting towns of Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and the Abbey of San Galgano.

Each destination offers its own charm — from a glass of wine in a quiet piazza to a traditional meal in a local trattoria — all within a scenic drive through the rolling Tuscan countryside.
